Overland Park, KS (October 26, 2023) – Leading the way in technological connectivity, KFN is thrilled to announce the expansion of its strategic collaboration with Netrality Data Centers. As a result of this enhanced partnership, KFN is now poised to offer customers at Netrality’s state-of-the-art Kansas facility, KC2-7801 Nieman Road in Shawnee, Kansas, connectivity into Netrality’s core interconnection facility at 1102 Grand in Kansas City, Missouri.
This strategic development adds another pivotal touchpoint for KFN customers to seamlessly engage with network service providers, managed service providers, Internet exchanges, content delivery networks, and leading cloud providers. The integration of Netrality’s newest location represents KFN’s seventeenth data center connection, reinforcing KFN’s unwavering commitment to providing diverse and flexible network options for both enterprise and carrier customers across the dynamic Midwest Region.
In conjunction with the expanded connectivity to Netrality’s data center in Shawnee, Kansas, KFN is further solidifying its contribution by furnishing dark fiber between Netrality’s two Kansas City Metro Region facilities. The dark fiber connection enables active-active replication between the two sites with one-millisecond roundtrip latency. This initiative is designed to provide Netrality’s customers access to both higher-density infrastructure and network-rich connectivity.
“At Netrality, we are steadfast in our commitment to fulfill customer needs in the Kansas Region. The distinctive configuration, connecting our core interconnection facility in Kansas City to our newly constructed KC2-7801 Nieman data center, satisfies customers’ demands for enterprise and wholesale colocation deployments. Partnerships with providers like KFN allow us to provide access to an unparalleled connectivity ecosystem and an environment equipped to support larger deployments with higher-density requirements,” says Josh Maes, Chief Operating Officer at Netrality.
Jesse Parisoff, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at KFN, expressed her excitement about this significant advancement, “We are excited to be a key partner with Netrality in building out the foundation for high-speed connectivity at the new KC2-7801 Nieman data center. The Kansas City Metro Region is experiencing unparalleled growth in data center development and new fiber placements, making it a strategic crossroad for inter-connecting primary and secondary facilities nationwide. KFN was an initial carrier at the new facility, offering dark fiber and lit services to all corners of the Kansas City Metro and Midwest Regions.”
The expansion of KFN’s collaboration with Netrality Data Centers reinforces KFN’s position as a pioneering force in network solutions and underscores their dedication to providing cutting-edge connectivity options that empower businesses across industries. With the technological landscape evolving at an unprecedented pace, this strategic partnership is set to redefine the parameters of seamless connectivity and innovative data exchange.
